Meet Our Team:

My name is William Drinkwater.

About five years ago I was a waiter at a local restaurant. I had previously left an engineering job after going to college due to health reasons plus the physically demanding work required and was at a loss. I had invested a lot of money and time into an engineering degree that I could no longer use. I felt as if I was just floating through life with no real path.

And then…. it happened. I was at a friends wedding and his photographer needed a hand. He asked me to take a few photo’s while he stepped away for a moment and that was the first time I had ever held a camera. The moment I had the camera in hand I realized that this was it! This was what I had always been looking for and I never even knew it!

It truly felt right, like the camera was a limb that I had never known I was missing.

I went home that night and for the next week I planned my future. I decided to take every penny I had and invest in a new education; taking multiple master class lessons in photography and film making, editing and theory, composition and story telling. For the next two years I studied everything I could get my hands on while at the same time investing in tools for my new trade. All the while taking picture of anything in site to build a portfolio.

Then in 2019 I ventured out in search of my first paying jobs, and opened my company H2O Co. Film and Photo in 2020.

I worked tirelessly to build a small client basis based off of a simple idea: “People over profits and excellence above all else.”

Here at H2O Co. we always strive to provide the customer with the best possible experience and surpass all expectations. With our motto “Always give the client more than expected.” we have helped others create their vision. We let our passion be our guide and truly love what we do! We let these ideals carry us; “For when you do what you love for a living, you never have to work a day in your life.”
